Twenty-five young people from across South Wales were treated to an exclusive DJ master-class on 3rd June, organised and hosted by Escape Into The Park.

Those attending the session came from ‘Young and Gifted’ and ‘Young Vibes’ (the local DJ groups in Pontarddulais) plus young people who access services via the Swansea Youth Offending Service.

They were given a DJ tutorial by international professional DJs, with an introduction to DJ equipment and basic skills in beat matching. The event was supported by the Swansea Youth Offending Service, the Youth Service and the Andrew Kent Music Academy.

Work in partnership with staff from Dunvant Rugby Club to renovate the ‘Youth Room’ A place for young people to chill out.
Develop links within the community through intergenerational projects.
Enjoy working on fun teambuilding projects with Antic Youth Theatre and South Wales Police.
